Do your Own Taxes

If you are reasonably intelligent and can follow instructions that do not make sense, then you need to be preparing your taxes yourself. If you find the booklets to complicated to follow, then I suggest taking a course to learn how to read the booklets and prepare your taxes. One way to do so is enroll in the tax courses that the big tax preparation services offer to potential employees. There are usually book fees but they are way less than you will pay for a professional to prepare your taxes.

Did you know that when you use one of these services and you recieve your money in 1-3 days that you are actually gettingĀ  a loan through a bank? This can be extremely expensive and it all depends on how fast you get your money. The commercials talk about how you can get your money now but they never tell you that it is not your refund you are receiving it is actually a bank loan. The more products you recieve the more interest and fees you wil be paying out; the more w-2’s, 1099’s and other employee earnings the more your fee’s will be not to mention the fee’s for the Earned Income Credit sheets and state tax preparations.

Save yourself some valuable tax dollars this tax season and do your taxes yourself and if it is just not something you get the hang of, go to your local IRS building they will help you for Free. You wont get your money today but you can get it in 15 days directly to your bank account.
